Searches were conducted in Academic Search Premier, Business Source Premier, ERIC, Ovid MEDLINE, PsycINFO, Scopus, and Web of Science to identify articles that were published on the topic of education and character. Words used to define character include trustworthiness, equanimity, humility, compassion, perseverance and courage.
Over 2300 articles and conference papers were identified in the search. The top 20 journals with the most publications on this topic are highlighted below.
