Systematized Reviews

Learn how the library can support you with your systematized review.

Working with a Librarian

MCW Librarians receive special training in conducting systematic review searches and can apply the same principles to your scoping review search. We can ensure that the literature search for your systematized review is thorough, comprehensive, and reproducible. If you bring a librarian onto your systematized review team, here are some ways we can work with you:

  • Discuss your research topic & the scope of the review
  • Determine which databases to search and work together on designing the search strategy
  • Librarians can run the searches and manage the citations
  • Find help in using Rayyan or other review tools
  • Review your methods section and provide numbers for the PRISMA flow chart

For assistance or to talk further with a librarian, request a reference consultation.
