To help you navigate the wealth of consumer health information out there effectively and safely, the MCW Libraries have created lists of reliable, trusted resources you can turn to as well as tips and tricks to evaluate health information.

EthnoMed is an ethnic medicine website containing medical and cultural information about immigrant and refugee groups. Information is specific to groups in the Seattle are, but much of the cultural and health information is of interest and applicable in other geographic areas.
International organization which coordinates the world’s response to health emergencies, promotes well-being, prevents diseases and expands access to health care. *Note that users can change the website language and all its information (like Fact Sheets) in the top right hand corner of the page.
Provides education resources in multiple languages for healthcare professionals and others to use in their communities. Resources are easy to read and culturally appropriate.
