Instructions for setting up Search Alerts in Grants.gov

Grants.gov is a centralized database that contains funding opportunities from federal grant-making agencies. Set up saved searches to get alerts from Grants.gov about upcoming or new grant opportunities.

  1. Register for a Grants.gov account.
  2. Search Grants.gov using keywords related to your research interests
  3. If you want, use the filters to refine the search results.
  4. Save the search. (If you are not already logged in, you will be prompted to at this point.)  Name your saved search and click “Save.”
  5. Your saved searches will show up under “Connect > Manage Subscriptions.”
  6. View the results, edit or delete your saved searches. Or just wait for the emails to come in!
