MCW Libraries offers a document delivery service for MCW, Children's Wisconsin, and Froedtert Hospital faculty, staff, and students. Book chapters and journal articles can be requested and delivered electronically subject to licensing and copyright restrictions. Books can also be delivered to any of our three locations so that you may pick up the item at the location which is most convenient to you. If we don't have the requested item in our collection, we'll do our best to find it through interlibrary loan (ILL). We provide items to our users from the collections at Todd Wehr (MCW) Library, Children's Wisconsin, and Froedtert Hospital Library as well as from other libraries through our Interlibrary Loan service.

This service is available for the following purposes:

• Non-profit uses (i.e. for private study, scholarship, research)
   
• For-profit uses/Pronto Service (i.e. for manufacture of a product, development of drugs or medical devices in the for-profit sector, for-profit litigation, health care services by for-profit companies)
   
• Interlibrary Loan to other libraries (MCW Libraries follows the Interlibrary Loan Code for the United States)

Use Clio to request temporary access to textbooks, or to request book chapters and journal articles that aren't available in our library collection. 

If you would like to request that MCW Libraries purchase a book or subscribe to a journal, fill out the book or journal purchase request form. We welcome your recommendations for adding content to our current holdings, but cannot guarantee that we will have the funds available to acquire them.
