Drug Information Textbook & Resources

United States Pharmacopeia and National Formulary (USP-NF) contains the pharmacopeial standards for drugs, dietary supplements, and excipients, as well as procedures for tests, assays, analytical methods, and more. Also contains annual updates for Chapters 757 (Non-Sterile), 797 (Sterile), and 800 (Hazardous).

Free access to the USP-NF is available to MCW students, faculty, and staff as part of the USP Academic Connection program.

Users will first need to create a personal account using their mcw.edu email. Go here to create your account (leave "subscription key" blank).

After submitting this form, you will receive an email (sent to your MCW email account) from USP to verify and complete the account creating process. Once this is done, you will receive an email confirmation that the new account is created.
